We extend a warm welcome to our newest Board Members: Alicia Bogner at 3532 Brockton Ct and Ory Kelley at 3464 Waltham Ct. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with our community!
Our white fencing and brickwork were cleaned the first week of May. If you have vegetation leaning on the fencing, please trim it back about a foot to help prevent algae growth and keep everything looking fresh. The black LIBERTY LAKES entrance lettering was also repainted this month.
🛍️ Community Yard Sale
The 2026 Community Yard Sale is not yet scheduled — we need a volunteer to help coordinate dates with neighboring communities, manage communication, and plan fun activities or food trucks. If interested, please email libertylakespowell@gmail.com.
📬 Mailbox Maintenance
Thank you for your mailbox upkeep last year! Please continue maintaining your mailbox according to the design and stain color listed at libertylakespowell.com under MAILBOX INFO. Check for leaning posts, rotten wood, faded stain, or missing numbers.
🚮 Trash & Recycling
All containers must be stored in your garage (Declaration of Subdivision Restrictive Covenants, Item 9). Place trash cans and yard waste at the curb no earlier than Wednesday for Thursday pickup. This practice keeps our community beautiful and protects our lakes and common areas from windblown trash.
🌿 Protect Our Lakes
Please keep grass clippings and leaves out of street gutters — storm sewers drain directly into our lakes, and debris harms water quality.
🚫 Overnight Parking
No overnight parking of trailers, boats, campers, etc. (Item 13 of our Covenants).
❄️ Window AC Units
Only interior portable units with a slim exterior attachment are permitted.
🌳 Common Area Visitation
All visitors to common areas must be accompanied by a resident. Violators will be issues a citation by the Delaware County Sheriff. Non‑residential lake fishing has caused issues including trash, hooks, fishing line, and improper catch‑and‑release. If you see trash while walking the paths, please help keep our community beautiful by removing it.
