- Please have a conversation about street safety with your children. There is a continual disregard of vehicles stopping at intersections, especially along Salisbury Drive. In addition, if your child is riding electric scooters/bikes in the street, it has been reported by residents that they are not stopping at the intersections at all. We have a beautiful bike path along Salisbury for their use. Please have that conversation for their safety and others
- 2025 Community Yard Sale Friday/Saturday August 8th-9th 9am-2pm. We need a volunteer to help with next year’s Community Yard Sale to make it a fun and successful event for our members: coordinating the date with our neighboring communities, communication on media platforms, planning family activities/food trucks, and any other fun summer ideas! Please email your info to libertylakespowell@gmail.com
- Please complete maintenance on your mailbox this summer. Mailboxes are to be maintained throughout our community with the specific design and stain color documented at libertylakespowell.com under mailbox info. If your mailbox is leaning, has rotten wood, faded/incorrect stain, missing numbers then please attend to this matter
- All trash/recycle containers are to be stored in your garage. Reference our Declaration of Subdivision Restrictive Covenants, Item 9
- There is no overnight parking of trailer, boats, camper, etc. Reference our Declaration of Subdivision Restrictive Covenants, Item 13
- New regulation for lake-use by your visitors: All visitors to common areas of Liberty Lakes must be accompanied by a resident. Violators will be issued a citation by the Delaware County Sheriff. The amount of non-residential lake fishing has caused issues: not following the catch/release fishing policy; excessive trash left in our common areas including fishing line and hooks; parking of vehicles on our streets and grass areas in violation of our posted “Residents only” regulations. Warning notices will be placed on these cars to notify the individuals and more signs will be posted in the common areas of our lakes
ENJOY YOUR SUMMER IN OUR BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
