Zoning Update

We had a good turnout and participation at last week’s township zoning meeting. We were able to point out obvious deficiencies in the developer’s proposal.  These centered around drainage and landscaping inadequacies.  A reduction in density would be the most obvious solution. We were joined by our neighboring civic associations as well.  Another meeting between us and the developer Epcon has been set for Monday, July 13, at 7:00 p.m. at the church. We hope at this meeting to be presented with a better proposal for developing the Harden and church properties.  We will then attend the final township meeting Wed. August 19, for the township trustee vote on this proposal.

Reminder: The community garage sale will be held this weekend June 26-27.

I moved in about a year and a half ago, but have never received anything about the Liberty Lakes Home Owners Association. I know there must be some guidelines for the neighborhood, and I would like to be aware of them. I am at 3395 Manchester. I live on one of the lakes. I’m also concerned about the amount of algea there is on the pond this year. Is there anything planned for treating the pond?

We are having Aqua Docs treating the algae growth and they think they have it under control. I will post the deed restrictions soon is that what you are looking for?

See our Documents page for our Restrictive Covenants and Article of Incorporation.
